Research Air Flo’s Atlanta Field and Office Team gathered for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic in the early 4th quarter of 2022. This gathering consisted of In-House Reporting Training, continued safety education, and a presentation from NEBB’s Technical Director.
During the Reporting Training, our Reporting Department highlighted the reporting software’s newest features that would aid the technicians in the field. The reporting department also highlighted key report formatting standards to ensure consistent reports throughout the entire Atlanta Division.
Following the Reporting Training, Kris Gaudet with SMART Safety shared four items on Safety.
- Distracted Driving Safety
- Defensive Driving
- Lock Out, Tag Out (LOTO)
- Confined Space Training.
Kris presented his slideshows and offered times for the Atlanta Technicians and Office team to ask questions regarding the covered topics. Many questions were asked, specifically regarding LOTO safety and additional procedures and the importance of knowing your rights regarding confined spaces that the technicians might work in.
After the team broke for lunch, NEBB’s Technical Director, Jeffrey Schools, joined the Atlanta team over Zoom for a few different NEBB topics. These included the NEBB Technical Update, an update on NEBB’s new training facility, and NEBB’s reporting standards. These presentations offered an opportunity to connect with the certification agency our firm is associated with and allowed the NEBB-certified technicians to receive their continuing education credits for the 2023 year.
From this day of training and fellowship, we believe that it improved our technicians and their workplace habits. Research Air Flo, Inc. looks forward to being your Test and Balance Contractor with our professionally trained technicians.
